Andrew Besford

Andrew Besford works on company transformation, specifically in the areas of data, digital, and cyber-security. Early in his career, he mostly worked in the telecom sector, conducting business transformation initiatives in the private sector.

For five years, Andrew worked as a senior civil servant in the Department for Work and Pensions. Later, he led the development of the Government Transformation Strategy, which was released in February 2017, while serving as the Cabinet Office’s deputy director of the Government Digital Service. In 2018, Andrew returned to his home in the North East.
