Dr. Gerard Ainsworth

Dr. Gerard Ainsworth is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon with sixteen years of experience in the NHS. He works for the NHS at the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle right now.

He is a specialist in cataract and refractive surgery and has experience in corneal laser eye surgery, multifocal intraocular lens use, and optimizing the results of standard cataract surgery. He completed a postgraduate diploma program in cataract and refractive surgery with distinction, as well as an advanced fellowship in anterior segment surgery.
