Dr. Jeremy Rushmer

Dr. Jeremy Rushmer was selected as executive medical director in March 2016. He offers clinical leadership in patient safety, care quality, and clinical strategy.

For more than eighteen years, Jeremy has provided anesthetic and critical care medicine consultations to the trust. He has been the site medical director at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington since September 2015, and he will still be providing critical care to patients there.

Jeremy served as the medical director of North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust from 2012 to 2015. During his tenure, he successfully oversaw significant quality improvements that improved patient safety and effectiveness.
